Executive Chairman and founder
Jim's experience is extensive and unmatched. From 1959, he has held senior and executive roles in investment, finance, property, development and construction before founding the JGS Group in 1981. He is a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPAs, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, an Honorary Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building, a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a past President of the Property Council of Australia and a Doctor of the University of Canberra. Jim has been involved in all phases of the JGS Group since the company's establishment, and his focus on providing clients with unambiguous advice has rightly earned him, and JGS, an enviable reputation of experience, knowledge and integrity.
James joined JGS in 1985 and was appointed Managing Director in 1990. Since that time, James has led JGS through a long period of growth and diversification based on strong, longstanding relationships with large corporate and government clients around the world. In leading JGS, James draws on his extensive industry experience to build on the company's strong reputation for transparent, individualised and insightful advice to buyers, vendors and investors. He works closely with clients to define goals and design customised strategic plans which deliver on those goals. After nearly 30 years with JGS, James understands that investors want clear, honest, impartial advice and he provides just that.
Adrian joined JGS in 1997 and has more than 25 years' experience with finance and property services. He is committed to providing consistent, expert portfolio and asset advice to clients across Australia and around the world. Adrian uses his vast industry knowledge and in depth analysis to ensure nothing is left to chance. The advice he provides is strategic and tailored to each client. Over the years, Adrian has proven instrumental in the development and execution of investment strategies for many clients right across the JGS Property business.
Robert joined J G Service Pty Ltd in 1987 as Project Manager in the Canberra Office before relocating to Sydney to oversee the company's development management projects. Rob returned to head office in 2000. Robert has over 20 years of construction and management experience across many large-scale, high-value projects.
Director Development Management
Zelko joined JGS Property in 2017 as Director of Development Management. With 29 years’ experience across complex project delivery in defence, aviation, residential and commercial disciplines. Zelko has delivered significant positive outcomes for private and public sector organisations and maintains strong project and stakeholder management skills. He has deep experience delivering sensitive, secure and operationally significant projects for government departments including Defence, Immigration and Border Protection, Department of Human Services, The Australian Maritime Safety Authority and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Director Property Investment
Russell has worked for JGS Property since 1998. In 2005 he took the role of Director Property Investment, with a primary focus on investment and consulting. Russell provides services to JGS clients based on intelligence and an unparalleled understanding of property investment. He specialises in direct property acquisitions and dispositions of commercial, retail and residential development assets, as well as investments in domestic and offshore wholesale property funds. His reputation has made him a highly sought after consultant, formulating and implementing key property strategies for clients and providing ad-hoc consulting services.
Director Private Capital
Andrew leads the JGS Private business and joined the company in 2014. He is an investment management professional with 20 years experience in the financial services industry. For the past 16 years he has specialised in funds management focusing on unlisted property and private equity. Andrew is experienced in building a range of investment management businesses across institutional, wholesale and retail investor markets, and the commercial, financial and operational management of those businesses. Andrew has been responsible for the financial management and operation of unlisted property funds management businesses and has served as Treasurer and Executive Committee member of the Property Funds Association of Australia. Prior to that he was a founding member of a private equity advisory/funds business which managed funds on behalf of Australia's most significant institutional superannuation investors, with funds under management of over $3 billion.
